Challenge

One of our clients was working on creating a unique market position and establishing themselves as a pioneer in their market space. They needed to fill their sales funnel with hard-to-reach senior level executives and reduce their sales cycle.

Results

After working with 5280 Accelerator, the owner called the blog content guidance “brilliant” and was happy with the results of A/B subject line testing on the email campaigns—which has led to email opens and click-throughs consistently exceeding goals by 110-300%.

Challenge

A concrete repair and waterproofing company was growing and focusing their attention on establishing and maintaining solid relationships with prospects, clients, and vendors. Sales had predominantly been made through ongoing relationship-building yet there was no consistent way of keeping track of conversations or documenting next steps.

Results

Inconsistent customer touches have been replaced with a repeatable, tracked process where anyone can know any customer’s status at any time. A transportation broker provides trucks to move U.S. produced goods from point A to point B, and wanted to grow customer contracts in order to justify expanding their office into other states.

How can we change our name to encompass our new capabilities?

Challenge

A 20-year old business had outgrown their name. Over the years, as they grew and new capabilities were added, they felt their name no longer encompassed all they offer.

The relaunch event was widely attended and the transition was well-received by internal and external audiences. The Founder had the opportunity to express his appreciation for the company’s growth, success and legacy to the employees, clients and partners who attended, while the President unveiled the new identity. An 11-year old non-profit felt its logo and website were outdated and unable to attract their senior executive business leader audience. They chose 5280 Accelerator to refresh their brand and provide a website that would clearly convey their mission with a fresh look and modern, easy-to-use functionality. The bigger challenge was that their Annual Members Dinner was already scheduled – with the Governor attending as one of the featured speakers – and only two short months away.

Results

How do we launch our new start-up company quickly?

Challenge

In the disrupted market of 2020, an entrepreneur was ready to launch a new company as quickly as possible. 5280 Accelerator partnered with them to develop a strategic marketing plan, complete with messaging, target audience definition and competitive analysis so they were armed with a playbook to launch their company and go-to-market in one month!

Results

In 25 business days, 5280 Accelerator provided a comprehensive and complete strategic and tactical plan – everything our client needed to bring the new company to market. The owner said, “Thank you so much for your strategy and proposal. I love working with you. How do we pivot to launch our company to a different market?

Challenge

A new owner purchased an established 30-year-old company and wanted to expand it from their existing government-based customers to also reach the private sector. 5280 Accelerator helped them re-position their offering and messaging to appeal to this new audience. Providing a competitive overview and thorough SWOT analysis, 5280 Accelerator partnered with them to uncover the best opportunities and create a marketing program that would launch the company to their new prospects.

Results

Even though they had recently done an offsite to revise their mission, our client was impressed with how well the new vision, mission and tagline captured their essence and expressed what they had been trying say. They said, “we’ve had difficulty explaining our customization and value in our proposals” and felt the clarified product offering and messaging would make that easier and more consistent. They agreed the action paths were essential for reaching a new audience and closing new business.

We just bought a business. How do we grow it?

Challenge

Having just signed the papers for the purchase of a 50-year-old B-to-B services company, the new owner and investor turned to 5280 Accelerator to create a Quick-Start Marketing Plan to help them develop a roadmap to hit the ground running. In just 25 business days, we renamed the business, designed a new logo and branding, and completed a relaunch plan. In another 15 business days we designed and launched their new website. Altogether, they were ready to meet their customers and generate new business in 40 business days!

Results

Initially the owner and investor felt it would cost too much and take too much time to consider renaming the company. However, 5280 Accelerator recognized the name was difficult to spell and the URL was not obvious – presenting a deficit when reaching new markets in the digital age. Given their expansion goals to go to new geographies and new industries and the fact that they had already decided to re-design the logo, 5280 Accelerator explained that the re-launch was the most opportune time to give the company a new name that was clear and tied to a strong URL.
